| Masicorp's Temperature Monitor is based
upon Masicorp's industry strength Monitor Alert Enterprise
Edition software platform incorporating a 1.5cm2 temperature
sensor unit with a range of -40 to +125 degrees Celsius.
The temperature sensor can be up to 100m from the computer
into which it connects using a standard USB connector
via an interface board which supports multiple temperature
(and other environmental) sensors. Temperature sensors
my be strategically located within the environment requiring
monitoring using the standard CAT5 UTP cabling infrastructure
that may be present.
Masicorp's Monitor Alert Enterprise Edition software
provides for temperature thresholds to be set and alerts
via email and / or SMS to be sent in the event that
threshold conditions have been exceeded or as may be
required. You also have the option of generating regular
reports via email and / or SMS advising of the current
temperature at any of the temperature (single or many)
sensor locations.
Masicorp's Monitor Alert Enterprise Edition software
can be configure so as to perform other functions in
the event that a certain temperature has been achieved,
exceeded or fallen below range. This may including the
launching of an application/s, the shutting down of
a system or systems (including many types of hardware
systems), the switching on of auxiliary air conditioning
units, the switching on of lights, etc.
