Monitor (SPA Monitor) is a software module that resides
on a a designated computer / server and monitors the
state of a process or application.
Often various critical processes run as background
tasks on a server or personal computer. In the event
that one or some of these processes fail for whatever
reason a specific task/s will not be performed eg. system
backup may fail, music on hold may be inoperative, virus
scanning may not be functioning, web site may be down,
etc.
SPA Monitor can be configured to monitor one or many
processes and issue alerts via email or SMS to report
the state of such process. The processes monitored,
the frequency of monitoring, the alters generated and
to whom such alerts are sent are all customisable by
the user or system administrator.
The name of the process or application which you wish
to monitor can easily be identifed through the Window's
Task Manager screens.
