These days all major PC and Server vendors incorporate monitoring
/ management software with their products. These management
products monitor the status of the personal computers or server
devices and generate alerts should a malfunction occur or
a predefined threshold be exceeded. Often these management
products will also monitor basic operating system generated
errors and generate alters accordingly. These management tools
are now considered as "standard issue" by the IT
managers and their help desk staff. PC vendors without such
management software tools for their hardware products will
simply loose business to their competitors.

management suite is hardware independent software alerting
systems that can be implemented on OEM's products to provide
their hardware with the necessary error alerting functionality
to compete with major hardware vendors. The Masicorp
Monitor Alert software management suite can be bundled
with an OEM product increasing the functionality of the device
and providing the features most customer expect as standard.
Extra Revenue Generating Opportunities
The Masicorp Monitor Alert software
management suite will generate email and / or SMS alters
based on the occurrence of a specific action/event or error
condition. All alters are centrally dispatched from the Masicorp
communication servers for which the user is charged a fee.
An OEM or reseller has the opportunity to on-selling this
service as their own and place a margin on the cost of the
alerts generated. This will provide on-going income streams
at good margins for the OEM or reseller.
In addition to receiving income as a result of alerts generated,
the alerts may also be carbon copied (CC) to your engineering
/ support staff / help desk. This will allow your staff to
respond immediately should an alert be received and take remedial
action before a catastrophic failure. Proactive support is
no different to having in place an insurance policy - where
such insurance policy cost is significantly less than recovering
from a disaster should a policy not have been in place.
