| The Masicorp Hard Drive Monitor is
a software utility capable of monitoring the state of
a computer’s Hard Disk Drive (HDD), this includes
the ability to monitor a servers' hard drive subsystem
including RAID configurations regardless of brand and
age of the system.
This utility will monitor all alerts captured by the
computer’s operating system as a result of the
HDD or RAID operation and will report any of such states
as required. The alerts reported are completely customisable
by the user. Alerts such as; disk capacity, bad reads
or writes, RAID conditions, physical drive conditions,
etc. can all be monitored and reported according to
the user’s custom settings.
Alerts can be delivered via email or SMS to as many
recipients desired with different conditions sent to
different recipients and as often as required –
this is completely customisable by the user or system
administrator.
